ICCIMA to establish joint comittee with Singapore

TEHRAN – Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) called for establishing a joint committee with Singapore to develop trade relations with the Asian country, the portal of ICCIMA announced on Wednesday.

The decision was made during a meeting between ICCIMA’s head Gholam-Hossein Shafeie and Singapore’s Ambassador in Tehran Ong Keng Yong. 

During the meeting, the potentials for mutual economic cooperation were explored and the two parties stressed the need for visa issuance facilitation and providing the basis for joint investments.

Shafeie mentioned oil, gas and energy as well as engineering services as potent areas for mutual cooperation saying that Singapore has had a very positive contribution in Iran’s Forouzan oilfield development after the removal of the west imposed sanctions on Iran.
